24 Hour Lemons Race
We raced our asses off and finished third (in our class)
Our team raced a $500 hooptie around a track for 2 days and lived to tell the tale
A few of the pictures while I raced the BFEGP 24 Hours of Lemons race this June. I can honestly say that I never had more fun in my life and cannot wait to get the ole chev back on the track. Not bad for being told that we don’t have a chance. Nevermind that we were in the slowest class, we still almost finished. Yet close enough was good enough and we finished third in our class. I am certain we would have done better if the whiskey was kept put away before the brakes were bled. That one was totally my fault. Oh well, we’ll get it down pat next year.
